FITCHBURG, Mass. — Verley A. Harriman (Dooley), 78, of Fitchburg, Mass., went home to the Lord Nov. 27, 2021, peacefully at home.

Born Dec. 10, 1942, in Camden, Verley graduated from Crosby High School in Belfast.

The Lord is my strength and my shield and with my song I will praise him” Psalm 28:7

A loving, caring soul who loved her Lord Jesus, horseback riding, family, Maine, knitting, crocheting, quilting, painting, winning at Scrabble, cards, Bananagrams and traveling with her companion, Tony Whitton.

Verley is survived by her daughters, Carol Gingue and husband Bob, of Cape Cod, Mass., Sonya Sanborn and Scott (predeceased) of Ashby, Mass., Sharon Amadon and husband Shawn of Townsend, Mass.; grandchildren Alicia and Brad Amadon and Tessa and Mason Sanborn; great-grandchild Alana Amadon, “who was the twinkle in her eye”; sisters and brothers Alfreda Robinson (predeceased), Joe Harriman, Barbara Robbins (predeceased), Leroy Harriman, Dwaine Harriman, Linda Pomeroy; and many of her loved ones, namely, spouses, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to “Isabell White,” owner of Dreamcatcher Horse Farm, c/o Sonya Sanborn, 122 Rindge Rd Ashby, MA 01431.
