ROCKLAND — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA), 21 Winter St., invites youth and adults to drop in for the free ArtLab for All Ages workshop, Capturing Action, on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. The workshop will be led by CMCA Community Arts Educator Alexis Iammarino.

Participants are invited to explore materials and activities that will connect movement and sound to art making. Giving particular focus to artist Shoshanna White, featured in CMCA’s “Into Action” exhibit, visitors will create monotypes, graphite rubbings and sand drawings.

Visitors of all ages and skill levels are welcome to attend. All materials are provided. Masks are required for all CMCA visitors.

CMCA’s ArtLab program is made possible by individual donors and members along with dedicated support from the Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Margaret E. Burnham Trust, The Cricket Foundation, Morton Kelly Charitable Trust, the Onion Foundation, Mattina R. Proctor Foundation, and the Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation.
