ROCKLAND — Rae Ann McCluskey, 85, died peacefully, with her daughter-in-law by her side, Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at Knox Center for Long Term Care.

Born in Rockland July 24, 1936, she was the daughter of Stanley and Mary Brown Mosely. She was educated locally and graduated from Rockland High School.

She was a hard worker her entire life, and worked for many years as an assembler at Electrotech. Later, she enjoyed waiting on customers at Rockland Dunkin Donuts.

Most recently, Rae enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She looked forward to her daily chats with her daughter-in-law, and loved playing Scrabble with the other residents at the Knox Center. Working on and completing jig-saw puzzles was another favorite pastime.

She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Predeceased by her son, Steven McCluskey, her brother and his wife, Walter ‘Bud’ and Lorraine Mosley; Rae Ann is survived by her daughter-in-law, Coral McCluskey of Waldoboro;  grandchildren, Christopher P. Cunningham, Sr. and his wife, Sarah, of Rockland, Bruce A. Cunningham, Kameren Doane and Kamden Doane, all of Waldoboro; great-grandchildren, Jaeda Hall, Tommy Hall and C.J. Cunningham; half-siblings, Des Mosley of Nashville, Tenn., Darlene Rae Mosley of Winslow; two nieces, Mona Richard of St. Petersburg, Fla., Michelle Gardner of Lewiston; as well two great-nieces, Anne Candelaria and Bridgett Artibani and their children; and one great-nephew, Tony Gardner.

A time of visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
