OWLS HEAD — A benefit for longtime town clerk Susan Wilson is scheduled for Saturday afternoon and evening, Nov. 20 at the Knox County Regional Airport’s maintenance building, located across from the town office.

Susan was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Her prayer was to live long enough to raise her granddaughters, Kassidy and Lily. On Oct 26, Susan’s adult daughter, Shelly, passed away due to complications from asthma.

Any donations are appreciated.

The fun starts at 4 p.m. A pickup takeout dinner of homemade spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread will be offered beginning at 5 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a silent auction with many things offered, such as: plane rides, motel stays, and many other items.

Donations are also accepted by sending a check to the Owls Head Fire Company, 483 North Shore Dr., Owls Head ME, 04854.

Susan has been the town clerk for 10 years and worked for the town for at least 13 years.
