WARRENVILLE, S.C. — Mr. William Arthur “Bill” Burns, 75, of Warrenville, S.C., beloved husband of forty-three years to Cathy Burns, entered into rest suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, in the comfort of his home.

Born in Belfast, he was the son of the late Arthur William Burns and the late Charlotte Monroe Flaherty. Bill and Cathy had been former residents of Mary Esther, Fla., prior to relocating to the CSRA, two years ago. He was a Class A Machinist, and was also a Finish Carpenter. Bill enjoyed racing, both NASCAR and Stock Car. More than anything, however, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Kate, Emily, Aaron and Tristan.

In addition to his wife, parents and grandchildren, family members include his children and their spouses, Gina and Frank Froment, Glen Burns, and William and Leah Burns; sister and her husband, Annette and Gary Light and one great-grandson, Caden James Lee.

Plans for a Celebration of Life Service and the interment of Bill’s cremated remains, in Liberty, are incomplete and are to be announced.

It has been suggested that memorials in memory of Bill be made to South Hope Community Church. (www.southhopecommunity.org)
