THOMASTON — Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene on Main Street in Thomaston after a head-on collision between a Meklin Construction dump truck and a silver 2012 Dodge Caravan Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 3.

Thomaston Police Chief Tim Hoppe said the driver of the minivan was Terry Pushor, and the driver of the truck was Eric Overlock.

The crash was reported at about 1:30 p.m.  The crash scene was on Main Street in front of Hoffman’s/Watts Block.

Hoppe said Pushor had a medical emergency which caused her to cross the line into the other lane, striking the truck.

A Thomaston ambulance took Pushor to Pen Bay Medical Center. Hoppe said she has since been discharged with a fractured sternum but is in good spirits.

Overlock was not injured.

Pushor’s heavily damaged Dodge was towed to Creek Hill Auto Repair.

Hoppe said the 2003 Western Star truck sustained approximately $5,000 of damage.
