AUGUSTA — The high school soccer regular season has drawn to a close as Midcoast squads prepare for the Maine Principals’ Association postseason in the open format. All teams, regardless of record or regional standing, qualify for the playoffs.

The reason is due to the fact teams could be in position to opt out of the regular season or postseason due to COVID-19 concerns or protocols.
