ROCKLAND — Ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremonies were held Thursday, Oct. 14 for two downtown Main Street businesses.

Both businesses had already opened but the pair were recognized in the ceremony attended by representatives of Rockland Main Street Inc. and the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The brief ceremonies were held at Ruckus Donuts at 377 Main St. and Botany at 403 Main St. These were the first downtown ribbon cuttings since the pandemic struck 19 months ago. City officials also attended the ceremonies.
