CAMDEN — After a pandemic-related hiatus in 2020, the Camden Snow Bowl “Trail Fest” returned — and with success — on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Seventy-four trail runners and bicyclists turned out for the fifth annual event, presented by Baxter Outdoors, Trail Runners of Midcoast Maine and Midcoast Maine New England Mountain Bike Association.

Every mile biked raised money for Midcoast Maine NEMBA, thanks to Sidecountry Sports, and every mile run raised money for Teens to Trails, thanks to Baxter Brewing Company.

There was a 3-kilometer (1.9-mile) children’s trail run, 5K (3.1-mile) trail run and 10K (6.2-mile) mountain bike race. There also was a 15K event which paired the trail run and bike race together for a duathlon and could be done solo, or as a team.
