In a meeting Sept. 13, Camden’s Charter Commission voted unanimously (8-0, with 1 absent) to approve its Final Report and recommended revisions to the 40-year-old Town Charter. On Sept. 21, Camden’s Charter Commission presented the Final Report to the Select Board for inclusion in the Town Warrant. The revised Charter is now ready to be voted on by the citizens as Article 4. Citizens can vote at the Public Safety Building on Nov. 2 or earlier by requesting an absentee ballot from the Town Office.

The Charter Commission will hold a public information meeting Oct. 13, at 5:45 p.m. in French Conference Room to answer any questions about the proposed revised Charter.
