ROCKPORT — The Friends of Rockport Public Library will hold a fall book sale from Thursday, Oct. 7, through Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Rockport Public Library. The sale will take place in the lower level in the Rockport Room.

Thursday night is the Members Only sale. For two hours, from 5 to 7 p.m., members will have first access to the sale. All proceeds go to the library. Individual memberships are $15, family memberships are $20.

A variety of books are available, from mystery, history, biography, art, Maine, children’s books and a huge “specials” table. Along with books will be DVDs, CDs, puzzles and other items will be available.

All funds raised will be donated directly to the Rockport Public Library. Funds are used to purchase new library materials for children and adult programs, supplies, multimedia resources, as well as technology and other types of equipment for the library.

Only checks and cash are accepted for the sale. All volunteers and sale shoppers are required to wear masks to align with health and safety protocols.
