The following is a recap of reported results:

Boys soccer

Winslow 6, Oceanside 0

At Thomaston Sept. 14, the Mariners and Black Raiders played evenly throughout the first 40 minutes, but Winslow assumed control in the second and cemented the victory. Winslow led 1-0 at halftime.

Andrew Poulin booted in a hat trick in the win for Winslow, while Joey Richards, Sam Schmidt and Levi Olin creased the net for the visitors.

Isaiah Meklin minded the net for the Mariners, as did Jason Reynolds for the Black Raiders.

“Our first half was in a great place, but the second half was about as bad as we have played all year and the score reflected that,” said Oceanside coach Travis Doughty. “It’s a young group and I knew we would have our ups and downs as a team. We are definitely gaining and figuring things out. Unfortunately, we have yet to play a full 80 minutes at our best. These kids want to work hard, they know their weaknesses and will get better.”

Medomak Valley 5, Maranacook 1

At Waldoboro Sept. 14, the Panthers broke the game open in the second half and prowled past the Black Bears. Medomak Valley led 5-1 at halftime.

Mohamedi Ngido and Addison Mellor netted two goals to key the Panther offense, while Noah Ludwig also creased the net, off an assist from Vishal Mellor.

Eric Vining scored for the Black Bears, off an assist from Chase McLaughlin.
