UNION — Although the Union Founders Day was cancelled the last two years due to COVID-19, the Common Market and Union Masonic Lodge #31 continued the Founders Day chicken barbeque tradition.
Over the past two years, the Common Market and Union Masons raised and donated $5,500 from these chicken barbeques to the Come Spring Food Pantry.
The pantry, from their new location at 27 Common Road, serves the towns of Union, Appleton, Washington, Searsmont, Warren, Hope and South Hope.
Their motto is, “No one turned away!”
