Town to close Beechwood St. for road repairs Sept. 20

THOMASTON — The Town of Thomaston will be replacing two side-by-side, 6-foot culverts with a bridge on Beechwood St., near the Warren town line.

These two culverts are deteriorating and are in need for replacement. This is the crossing for the East Branch of the Oyster River.

Beechwood St. will be closed to through-traffic for two to three weeks, weather permitting. The tentative start date is Monday, Sept. 20.
