ROCKPORT — The Rockport Garden Club’s September guest speaker is Stacy Leafsong from Leafsong Family Garden, who will discuss “Creating Color and Interest in the Autumn Garden.” This free program will be Thursday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House lower level, 6 Central St.

Leafsong is a professional horticulturalist who, along with her children, operates Leafsong Family Farm, a nursery and farm store located in Belmont. Leafsong was introduced to horticulture through her family’s rose nursery in southern Maine. She was also involved in garden design and installation prior to organic flower farming.
