CAMDEN — The Camden Public Library welcomes back Sonja Florman, known for her lively and enchanting performances with the Blue Fuse Gypsy Swing Band. On Thursday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m., Florman will perform a free concert in the Camden Amphitheatre with another one of her bands: Sonja Florman & Friends.

This five-piece group is comprised of Portland’s premier jazz musicians—Jason Ingalls on drums, Connor Linehan on guitar, Nick Thompson-Brown on saxophone, Jordan Bicki on bass, and Sonja Florman on piano and vocals. They play the Top 40 of the 20th Century, groovy jazz, soul, Latin, and vintage pop. Most importantly, they’re a lot of fun!

Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket for comfort, and get ready for this summer’s most swinging show. For more information, visit librarycamden.org.
