OWLS HEAD — The Auto Auction is the Owls Head Transportation Museum’s premiere annual fundraising event, as well as an event in the New England automotive community and beyond.

Featured in The Wall Street Journal and Hemmings Motor News, the auction was heralded as “the real thing,” a worthy alternative to Pebble Beach’s Automotive Week. The sale represents one of the most diverse collections of automobiles available in the Northeast.

The schedule for this fundraiser includes:

The New England Auto Auction Preview — Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

With more than 200 vehicle consignments arriving throughout the week, this is the chance for bidders to get up close with their top picks.

After Hours Preview and BBQ — Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Browse the inventory and eat local BBQ during this kick-off open house evening event. Registered bidders receive two BBQ tickets in their bidder packages.

The New England Auto Auction Preview — Thursday, Aug. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During the preview week, spectators and bidders will have the opportunity to look closely at their favorite auction vehicles.
