ROCKLAND — The Rockland City Council approved the closure of a portion of Main Street for the next three First Friday art walks.

The Council voted Aug. 2 to authorize the closures Aug. 6, Sept. 3. and Oct. 1.

Main Street from Park Street to Glover’s Passage will be closed to motor vehicles from 5 to 8 p.m. each of those days.

Art museums and galleries open their doors to the public during these walks that started several years ago.
