Artists showing their work in this exhibit include Marcia Sewall, Joanne Tarlin, Nicholas Beverage, Ann O’Hara, Timothy Moran, Carolyn Gabbe, Lois Eastman, Ann Tracy, Heather Spencer, Veronica Poblete, Louise Duffy and Marli Thibodeau.

KCAS is an association for all artists and art-supporters who live in (or have a close connection with) Knox County. The mission of KCAS is to promote art in our communities, provide opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their art, to provide instruction in various forms of art to interested members, and find opportunities for members to strengthen the bond of arts and the Knox County community. KCAS membership is open to all ages, and new members may join at any time.

New groups of artists and art supporters are planning activities for 2021 and beyond. A KCAS plein air painting group meets weekly to paint the most beautiful sights in Knox County and beyond. Plans are underway for life drawing opportunities, and, as conditions warrant, KCAS will offer many opportunities to meet for discussions, potlucks, opportunities to discuss each other’s artwork, and other activities designed and run by the members of KCAS.

According to Vice President Wendy Jablow, “KCAS is thrilled to be exhibiting in Cushing. Cushing has a long history of supporting artists and KCAS is honored that the Cushing Historical Society will be hosting our show. We plan on having pieces available in a variety of media (painting, photography, textiles, mixed media, note cards, calendars). The historical society’s barn is in a lovely setting, and we hope to meet lots of old and new friends at the exhibit.”
