Belfast Bay Fiddlers highlight Aug. 4 lawn concert

ROCKPORT — The Rockport Masonic Center hosts a lawn concert Wednesday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 7 p.m. featuring the music of Belfast Bay Fiddlers.

The event is free to the public with pass-the-hat donations taken for the group of performers. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the summer night and music. This is a rain, go inside, or shine, stay outside, event.

One hamburger or two hot dog plates with a side, chips, drink and ice cream are available for $10 per plate. There will also be a 50-50 raffle drawn.

The center is located at 361 Main St., just up from the Simonton Corner four-way stop signs. For more information, call Jeff Sukeforth at 691-2270.
