CAMDEN — On Sunday afternoons, Aug. 8 and 22, the Community Arts Fund presents the 2021 Camden Summer Sounds series, supported by the Camden Opera House, Camden Snow Bowl and the Town of Camden. Both outdoor concerts are free and will take place at 2 p.m., rain or shine, at the Snow Bowl, 20 Barnestown Road.

The series kicks off Aug. 8 with the Jason Spooner Band, plus special guest Travis James Humphrey. Multi-award-winning New England-based songwriter, guitarist and producer Jason Spooner brings his full band to town. The JSB blends roots rock, Americana, blues, folk and groove-oriented jazz, underpinned by elements of reggae and soul. Opener Travis James Humphrey is a singer, songwriter and one-man honky-tonk band who adds a country flavor to his well-crafted originals and well-chosen covers.

The Aug. 22 concert features Primo Cubano, with special guest the Ryan Blotnick Quartet. Camden Summer Sounds attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn seating and picnics; snacks and water will be sold on site.
