ROCKPORT — Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s Arts on the Hill program brings Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra (aka MoJO) to Beech Hill Preserve on Monday, July 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. as part of this popular summer concert series. Beech Hill will be hopping!

Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece, Midcoast-based big band that plays modern as well as traditional jazz, including Latin, swing, blues and funk. The band derives its name from its practice schedule: Monday nights, and they certainly have their mojo workin’.

Overflow parking will be available at the field next to the trailhead lot on Beech Hill Road. Please do not park on the road. Plan to arrive early to allow time for the .75-mile walk up to Beech Nut. Plan to bring a picnic, relax and enjoy the spectacular view…unless you’re up dancing to the beat!

All Arts on the Hill performances are free and open to all ages, but please leave your dogs at home. Refreshments and reception will follow the performance.
