TENANTS HARBOR — The annual book sale at the Jackson Memorial Library, located at 71 Main St. in Tenants Harbor, is spread over three different dates this year, organized according to specific themes.

For July 17, library staff will kick off the sale with adult fiction and juvenile books, along with a bake sale and silent auction.

Mysteries, DVDs, puzzles and a treasure sale will follow July 31.

The final event occurs Aug. 14 and includes non-fiction books, a raffle drawing and bake sale.

Each sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with books marked at 1/2 price from 2 to 4 p.m.

The silent auction will feature an array of items, including local original artwork by Lauren Gill, Kathleen Fox, Christine Moses and Ed Botkin.

A lobster boat cruise, an acoustic guitar and a Jane Derbyshire silk scarf round out the collection. Viewing and bidding of items will be available during library hours from July 1 to July 17. The auction closes at 2 p.m. July 17.

Raffle and auction items may be viewed online at jacksonmemoriallibrary.org.

Raffle items will be on display by July 2. Raffle tickets are $2 each, 6 for $10 and can be purchased at JML with cash, check or credit card. An outstanding array of raffle items includes donations from Puffins Nest, Green with Envy Salon, Ancho Honey, Dip Net, Hamilton Marine, Pam Kowalt wreaths,  Threadbare baby blankets, McLoon’s and many other items.
