The Midcoast Adult Coed Softball League is back in the swing of things with a few new teams and plenty of historic squads in the fold for the summer season of 2021.

The teams in the 13-team league, also known at Camden Coed, include Bayview Bushwhackers, Feener Pride, Free Press Redwings, Smokin’ Rokys, Walter J. Read Carpentry, French & Brawn Baggers, Knox County Benchwarmers, DX, Steel-Pro, Willey Wharf, Northeast Concrete, Maine Cat and Bonnie’s Place.

Bushwhackers and Walter Read are new teams, while most others have been involved with the league for years, none longer than decades-old French & Brawn.

Maine Cat is the defending champion.

Games are held at Jaycee Park on Old County Road in Rockland, the former Rockport Elementary School site off Route 1, Camden Snow Bowl and Lincolnville Central School.
