Free lasagna dinner offered June 26

UNION — Union Masonic Lodge #31 will have a free to the public Lasagna Supper Saturday, June 26 with curbside pickup available from 4:30 to 6:30 .
The menu includes meat or veggie lasagna, salad, garlic bread and a drink.
Donations will be accepted for the Masonic Lodge building fund.
Reservations are preferred and may be made by calling Gary at 749-1846.
Union Masonic Lodge #31 is located at 149 Sennebec Road.

Rockland Public Library will no longer require masked visitors

ROCKLAND — Based upon CDC and State of Maine recommendations, and the ending of the State of Civil Emergency, beginning on Thursday, July 1, masks will no longer be required in the Rockland Public Library, but continued mask use is encouraged for those not vaccinated as well as in the Children’s Room.
Library hours will also change starting July 1. The Library will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday and Friday 10 AM- 5 PM, and Saturdays, 10 AM – 4 PM.
The Library is moving towards limited capacity in-person programming, but will continue to offer many programs virtually during and after the transition. In-person storytimes may be outdoors or inside: for Toddlers — Tuesdays at 10:30, Pre-School and School Age-Wednesdays at 10:30, and Babytime- Thursdays at 10:30.

Whales talk with Marine Mammals of Maine July 1
ROCKLAND — The Rockland Public Library presents Marine Mammals of Maine Thursday, July 1, at 6:30 p.m., via Zoom. This event is free and open to all.
Join Marine Mammals of Maine with a basic overview of what species have been spotted in the Gulf of Maine. Viewers will investigate adaptations these mammals have in order to survive. This program will also focus on cetacean stranding response in Maine and highlight a few of the Marine Mammals of Maine cases.
