THOMASTON — Jeffrey L. Robbins, 58, of Thomaston, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep May 1, 2021.

He was born in Rockland July 7, 1962. Jeffrey went to Rockland High School until 11th grade, then went scalloping and fishing.

Later in life, his jobs included work at Dragon Cement, George Hall and Sons, Joes and Schooner Bay Taxi, Meals on Wheels, Electro Tech and lobstered with his very close friend Sy Knight. He then had to apply for disability due to his breathing.

He always enjoyed deer hunting and fishing for bass until he wasn’t able to walk long distances.

Jeff is survived by his wife Tracy and son Paden of Thomaston; sister Michelle Leonard of Waldoboro; half-sisters Barbra Sieder of Rockland and Crystal Simmons of Livermore; son Christopher Simpson of Worcester, Mass.; daughters Natasha Carter of Warren and Samantha Jo Ranson of Rockland; step-daughter Natasha Alley of Rockland; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandkids and cousins.

Jeff was predeceased by his mother Judy McCoy of Thomaston and father Donald Robbins of Lewiston.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
