Spruce Head resident graduates from Roger Williams University
BRISTOL, R.I. — Roger Williams University announced that Kyle Waters of Spruce Head, graduated magna cum laude with a master’s degree in administration in May, as part of the class of 2021.

Darney receives dean’s list placement at Dean College
FRANKLIN, Mass. — Kalen Darney of Thomaston received a place on the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester at Dean College.
Dean College is a private college in Franklin, Mass. Dean College offers baccalaureate degrees, associate degree programs, part-time continuing and professional education credit, and certificate programs.

Locals receive honors on Northeastern University’s spring dean’s list

BOSTON, Mass. — Northeastern University recognized students who distinguish themselves academically in the school year.

Abraham LeMole of Rockland, who is majoring in mechanical engineering, and Eileen Maeda, majoring in nursing, were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester.

To achieve dean’s list distinction, students must carry a program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career.

Witham graduates from Plymouth State University

PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Haylie Witham of Thomaston graduated from Plymouth State University during its 150th Anniversary Commencement Ceremony May 8.

Witham received a bachelor of science degree in marketing.

Witham was among more than 670 Class of 2021 students who received degrees.

Southern Maine Community College announces dean’s list students

SOUTH PORTLAND — Southern Maine Community College announced that nearly 1,200 students made the 2021 spring semester dean’s list.

Local students who made the dean’s list include Amy Doiron of Rockland, Andy Parmley of Washington, Derek Stoddard of South Thomaston and Andrea Wilcox of Warren.

Southern Maine Community College is Maine’s largest community college.
