ROCKPORT — The Camden Hills Regional High School football program is back for the fall 2021 season and the Windjammers will hold a series of summer conditioning camps to prepare.

Windjammer head coach Chris Christie and his staff invite new and returning players, as well as interested ninth- through 12th-graders who will attend the school in the fall, to participate in the annual July conditioning camp.

The camps will be Mondays through Thursdays, the weeks of July 5-8, July 12-15, July 19-22 and July 26-29. Sessions will run 5:30 to 7 p.m. and are free to attend.

The sessions are designed to prepare bodies and minds for the season, while providing a safe and supportive player-community towards becoming the “total athlete,” said Carl Chadwick, a longtime supporter of Windjammer football.

Chadwick said the Windjammer coaching staff provides decades of dedication and support to the Camden Hills program as each came up through the feeder program, Five Town Football, to the high school.

This season, the Windjammers will participate in the Maine Principals’ Association 8-person large school division.
