Julia Abernethy joined the board as a new member representing Washington.

The board will also vote in the new student representatives at its next meeting. Natalie Dean will be the new student representative and Elizabeth Swan will be the new alternate student representative.

In other business, the board confirmed two new district employees.

Superintendent Steve Nolan spoke about the past school year during the superintendent report.

Nolan said he was happy to put this year behind him, and hoped the district never had to go through anything like the COVID-19 pandemic.
