THOMASTON — The Watts Hall Community Players present “Songs of Summer: A Musical Revue with a Preview” live at Watts Hall, 174 Main St., for the Fourth of July weekend with shows Friday and Saturday, July 2 and 3, at 7 p.m..

Numbers from favorite Watts Hall musicals will be performed, including “The Music Man,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “South Pacific,” “The Pirates of Penzance” and “Once Upon a Mattress.” As a special treat, the players will present a preview of next summer’s show, “Count Me In,” the locally-written musical about Henry Knox. Fun for all ages.

The cast is fully-vaccinated, and the audience will be wearing masks for this short, but sweet, show. Tickets are not required, but a suggested donation of $10 is appreciated. For more information, call 542-9079.
