Gloria Carolyn (Studley) Hodgkins passed away May 9, 2021, at the age of 91 in Delray Beach, Fla.

She was born March 17, 1930, in Rockland, the daughter of H. Pearle and Gladys (Britto) Studley.

She attended local schools and was a 1948 graduate of Rockland High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society and chosen as the Kippy Karnival Kween.

On June 18, 1948, she married Newell Hodgkins, and they raised four children in Rockland.

She was a member of the Rockland Golf Club and also worked in the club pro shop.

In 1981, she and her husband moved to Florida, where she continued a career in golf retail at the Boca West Country Club until her retirement in 2000.

An avid golfer both in Rockland and Florida, she shot two hole-in-ones and, with her husband, won the Wycliffe Country Club husband-wife championship.

She was predeceased by her husband Newell and son Stephen Hodgkins.

She is survived by daughter Carol Hill and her husband George of Perry, Ga.; daughter Margaret Burgess and her husband Richard of Lake Worth, Fla.; son Donald Hodgkins of Delray Beach, Fla.; daughter-in-law Patricia Henderson of Delray Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildrenn; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

She also leaves behind sister-in-law Gloria Patricia Briggs of Columbia, Md.; nieces and nephews Verna Marie Bramhall of Friendship, Linda Woodman and her husband Carl of Owls Head, Terry Studley and his wife Debra of Owls Head, Peter Hodgkins and his wife Sue of Rockland, Paul Hodgkins and his wife Lucy of Lamoine, Lewie Gayton and his wife Cheryl of Virginia Beach, Va., Rhonda Briggs Goldstein and her husband Ken of Fairfax, Va., Dorothy Briggs Acker and her husband James of Elkridge, Md. and Ronald Briggs Jr. of Tampa, Fla.

Interment will be June 7 at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fla.
