The Strand Theatre announces an outdoor Summer Concert Series that will take place in the Key Bank parking lot adjacent to the theater at 331 Main St. A limit of 100 tickets will be sold for each show, and appropriate COVID safety protocols will be in place for the concerts.

Opening the series Sunday, June 27, at 4 p.m. is the Oshima Brothers. The indie duo brings an uplifting, harmony-drenched blend of contemporary folk, acoustic pop, and Americana. On stage, Sean and Jamie offer lush vocals, live looping, foot percussion, electric and acoustic guitars, vintage keyboard and bass — often all at once.

Michael O. performs Sunday, July 18, at 4 p.m. Michael creates a powerful blend of American R&B and Afrobeats, striving to build connections that break down cultural boundaries.

Viva & The Reinforcements are up Sunday, Aug. 15, at 4 p.m. Viva brings spicy cosmopolitan grooves that balance the zest of burlesque with renewed classic standards.

Finishing the series Sunday, Sept. 12, at 4 p.m. is JanaeSound, a powerhouse rock singer known for her soulful voice.
