Sixty-three boats have already registered for the 5th Annual Camden Classics Cup regatta, which will take place July 29 through 31.
The regatta structure this year will be different based on current Maine State COVID-19 guidelines and the Camden boatyard improvements project. What will be the same are two days of racing on Penobscot Bay. The Youth Regatta is Friday, July 30 and the fleet will dress ship for the Parade of Sail around Camden's Inner Harbor Saturday, July 31.
Details on post-racing events are coming together as state regulations and spacing requirements are updated, but visitors can expect socializing, dining and music. On-shore events will be outdoors, smaller in size, and with strictly enforced maximum capacities. Tickets are still available.
Those who have already registered can check the Scratch Sheet to confirm that they are on it. Any questions about your registration email Marnie Read, regatta organizer at mread@lymanmorse.com
