Low pressure will exit the Gulf of Maine to the east on Thursday with some lingering areas of rain and snow offshore. This will be followed by a push of arctic air Friday that will result in gusty northwest winds and some snow showers. Cold air will continue to rush in on Saturday as we return to sunny skies for the weekend. Broad low pressure will pass by offshore during the early week with an uptick in east to northeast winds and a chance of rain and snow mix.
