Rockport resident Lochlin Recht has started his own business, Easy Errands Delivery, a service to assist people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recht wants to provide a service in light of the pandemic to help people get their errands done while minimizing the local communities exposure to the virus, he said.

"Even after the pandemic, Easy Errands's goal is to provide a time-saving service for Knox County residents and beyond," Recht said in a press release to the Courier-Gazette. He also said he would eventually like to offer jobs to young adults interested in helping the community.

Currently, Easy Errands Delivery is based in Rockland, and offers services to all of Knox County, as well as Lincolnville and Waldoboro in.

Services include fast food and restaurant take-out delivery, grocery and prescription delivery, dry cleaning pick-up and drop-off, general shopping, pet care and personal item transport.

"Easy Errands offers as many time-saving services as possible and is always looking for ways to improve," Recht said, "People are always welcome to request services that aren't listed, and Easy Errands will find a way."

The business is open seven days a week; services can be ordered from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Easy Errands Delivery can be found at and can be contacted by email at or by phone at 706-9433.
