State Rep. Bill Pluecker will host a virtual constituent meeting for residents of Appleton, Hope, Union and Warren Saturday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m.

Pluecker wants to give opportunities to hear about local issues in these towns, provide an update on work in the state legislature and learn about problems anyone might have with a government agency where his office can help.

“In these times of strife and hardship in our country’s politics and economy, coming together as a community to be a helping hand and resource for each other is more important than ever. Things are getting off to a slow start in Augusta, but I need to hear from my constituents to do my job properly. It is always an honor and privilege to talk with and work for you, join me as we get the 130th legislature started.”

Residents interested in participating in the meeting should RSVP with Rep. Pluecker’s staff member Brian Colleran at brian.colleran@legislature.maine.gov.

For anyone that cannot make the scheduled time, but would like to connect with Pluecker, contact him at bill.pluecker@legislature.maine.gov or 273-3044.

Pluecker is serving his second term in Augusta and is on the Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee, as well as the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.
