The town of Hope now has 17 resumes for candidates applying to be its next town clerk.
Town Administrator Samantha Mank said the ad that had been running for the post on the town website has been taken down because the deadline for accepting applications ended on Dec. 18.
“At this point, no new staff have been hired yet,” she said. “I am hoping to schedule interviews for both positions over the next couple of weeks.”
The town also has received 13 applications for the open bookkeeper position.
The town administrator performs interviews and background and reference checks on applicants. The Select Board needs to confirm the person hired for the position.
