Atlas Naturopathic Health Center in Rockport will open Jan. 4 for in-person and telehealth visits.

Dr. Alison R. Maloof offers preventative medicine and treatment of a variety of illnesses. She applies a holistic approach and maps a plan using modern and traditional therapies. Maloof said Atlas Naturopathic Health Center provides “healthcare for you, not just your symptoms.”

In additional to typical natural and modern therapies, Atlas Naturopathic offers hydrotherapy — the use of hot/cool water applications to the body in order to support the healing process. “Our bodies are made up of 60% water. Water is a great source of healing and if used correctly is the simplest and safest remedy.” said Maloof.

Atlas Naturopathic treats immune support; Lyme disease; autoimmune diseases; digestive complaints; stress management; chronic conditions and more. Maloof uses a variety of healing methods, such as personalized nutrition; botanicals; homeopathy; standard and specialty laboratory testing; naturopathic adjustments and professional grade therapeutic supplements.

Maloof earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the accredited National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Ill, later completing her residency in Vermont, learning and practicing under Vermont’s first naturopathic doctor. This experience — treating a wide range of patients and diagnoses alongside several naturopathic doctors — has provided experience in Lyme disease; smoking cessation; chronic illness and more.
