Synagogue to serve free holiday turkey dinner Dec. 25

ROCKLAND — Adas Yoshuron Synagogue in Rockland will continue its annual tradition of serving turkey dinners for their Christmas Day Community Dinner.

The food will be prepared by Primo Restaurant and served as a take-out meal, due to COVID-19 restrictions. This event is open to all.

The staff and volunteers at the synagogue requests that all visitors wear a mask and stay socially distanced six feet apart. They will serve dinner at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 11 White St., next to the Rockland Public Library. Form a socially distanced line at the side door.

Parking lot Christmas Masses set for St. Bernard Church Dec. 25

ROCKLAND — In addition to the hundreds of Christmas Masses scheduled for churches and parish halls around Maine, parking lot Masses will be held at St. Bernard Church, located at 150 Broadway, Dec. 25 at 11 a.m. Father Bob Vaillancourt will lead the Christmas Mass.
