Rockland Fire Chief Christopher Whytock was awarded his Chief Fire Officer Level II certification from the Maine Fire Chief’s Association.

The officer program was developed by the Maine Fire Chief’s Association and looks not only at work experience and training but also professional contributions, memberships and community involvement.

According to Brunswick’s Fire Chief Kenneth Brillant, Whytock has demonstrated a great deal of involvement in all these areas. “It is a testament of his hard work and dedication to the position of Chief for the Rockland Fire Department,” Chief Brillant said in a news released issued by the city of Rockland.
