The township of St. George invites area families to share the holiday spirit as locals decorate homes, boats, businesses, organizations, neighborhoods and harbors to “Light up St. George,” spread good cheer and celebrate the holiday season.

Though we are unable to gather together as communities this year, consider driving down the

St. George peninsula Saturday, Dec. 12, or Sunday, Dec. 13 (4:00-7:00 pm, both days) to view our bright lights and enjoy our holiday displays.

The town will also invite all to support the following St. George restaurants and eateries that will be open for CDC-compliant, distanced eat-in dining or take-out that weekend:

  • Ancho Honey, in Tenants Harbor, will be open Saturday/Sunday with take-out options until 7 p.m.
  • The Quarry Tavern at the East Wind Inn, Tenants Harbor, offers a Saturday dinner from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • The Black Harpoon in Port Clyde will have a Saturday dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. with dine in and take-out options.
  • Village Ice Cream in Port Clyde will also offer to-go orders.
  • The Causeway Restaurant in Spruce Head will offer a Saturday/Sunday brunch and dinner service at the Craignair Inn.

Call or email each business to verify hours, offerings and availability.
