Teachers and students at Washington's Prescott Memorial School had a special treat waiting for them when they arrived at school Nov. 20.

An anonymous group called Operation Panda Drop, named after the school's panda mascot, has been delivering cheerful surprises to the school each Friday since the start of the school year.

Third grade teacher B.J. Kopishke said each week's gift has been "something fabulous."

On Nov. 20 the group, which operates during the early morning hours before anyone arrives at the school, had placed signs along the front of the school.

The signs listed items and people the group were thankful for, such as front line workers, bus drivers, parents, art and music. Some signs included markers for the students to add their thoughts as well.

Kopishke said students and teachers all look forward to seeing what Operation Panda Drop has delivered each Friday. She said this delivery was particularly heartwarming.

Kopishke documented the signs in a Facebook video, which can be seen here.
