On Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 5 to 6 p.m. on WRFR’s Rockland Metro show, host Steve Carroll will have a conversation with Sarah Austin, chairwoman of the Rockland Parks and Recreation Committee.
They will talk about the Rockland Recreation center and plans for its use. The City’s contract with the YMCA to manage youth programs at the center will expire at the year's end, and the City must decide its future.
The public is invited to join the conversation, to ask questions and share ideas by calling the station at 593-0013.
Rockland’s local community radio station WRFR broadcasts on 93.3 FM in Rockland and 99.3 FM in Camden, and streams online at wrfr.org. The Metro Show is also broadcast on Maine Coast Television, cable channel 7, online at mainecoast.tv and on Roku.
