Delano Seafood Shack to host fundraiser for Maine Cancer Foundation Oct. 31
WALDOBORO — Delano Seafood and Delano Seafood Shack, located at 2090 Atlantic Highway, will have a fundraiser for the Maine Cancer Foundation in memory of Michelle Winkley Creamer, Saturday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
There will be donation jars available, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction under the tent. Delano's will donate $5 for every transaction at the Shack and in the market.

Pen Bay to host online class on budgeted healthy meals Nov. 2 to Nov. 23
VIRTUAL — Join SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educators from Knox and Waldo counties from 3 to 4 p.m. for a free, four-week class that will give viewers the skills to shop, cook and eat healthy foods while stretching SNAP dollars and staying within a grocery budget.
There will be recipe demonstrations at each interactive virtual session. All participants will receive a cookbook with 24 healthy, low-cost recipes and nutrition tips! Class is free; pre-registration is required in order to obtain virtual access.
