The Waldoborough Historical Society's latest publication, “You Know You Grew Up In Waldoboro When…A Collection of Stories,” is available for purchase locally at the Waldoboro Public Library; the Community Pharmacy; by contacting the editor, Associate Trustee Peter Robbins, at peter@bohemiancoffeehouse.com; or by calling Bill at 790-1307 or Jean at 832-4421.

Robbins is the webmaster of the Facebook site “You Know You Grew Up in Waldoboro When.” Over the years, many locals have posted pictures and memories of their lives in Waldoboro, and so he offered them a chance to share their memories and photos in a publication to support the society’s Project Fund. Fifty-two responses were gathered along with some photos from the writers and the museum’s archives.

The book’s cover photo was contributed by Don Day, a member of the Waldoboro High School Class of 1953. In the book, Day tells a circa 1945 memory of camping at the quarry sites with his friends, Russell and Richard Studley and Nick DePatsy. The cost of each book is $15; those that wish copies mailed should add a $5 postage charge.
