Joseph Hufnagel, Director of The Landing Place, holds up one of 30 pumpkins to be delivered to local families in need this fall. The pumpkins are a donation from Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Teen Ag Crew at Erickson Fields Preserve in Rockport. Their 4-acre garden annually supplies thousands of pounds of produce to eight Midcoast pantries, school lunches, a retirement home, and local businesses. This year, the Teen Ag Crew’s harvest is projected to top 20,000 pounds.
