Midcoast Women will hold the second of its three-part online series, Moving the Needle, featuring Senate District 12 candidates David Miramant and Gordon Page. Midcoast communities will ask candidates questions of importance especially for women and girls. The topics include public school education, domestic violence, discriminatory taxes, small business economy, and the needs for seniors. The program will be online Sept. 30 from 6:30 8 p.m.
Senate District 12 includes the Knox County towns Appleton, Camden, Criehaven Twp., Cushing, Friendship, Hope, Isle au Haut, Matinicus Isle Plantation, Muscle Ridge Islands Township, North Haven, Owl’s Head, Rockland, Rockport, South Thomaston, St. George, Thomaston, Union, Vinalhaven, and Warren.
