Gardener John Fromer will lead an outdoor program about perennial garden maintenance at Merryspring Nature Center Tuesday, Sept. 15 at noon.
In this talk, John Fromer will teach about efficient maintenance methods and useful tools that save time and effort in the garden. The talk will also include tips on how to keep gardens healthy and blooming into the late summer growing season.
Fromer has been a Maine Master Gardener since 1998 and runs Appleton Ridge Flower and Vegetable Farm with his wife Kathy, also a Maine Master Gardener.
This event is part of the Summer Talk series. Please note that due to the ongoing pandemic guests must take safety seriously during this program, and are advised to wear face masks. Seating for this event will be outdoors in chairs set up a safe distance apart. This event is subject to change due to state and local regulations.
The cost of this program is $5, with free admission for Merryspring members. Guests are encouraged to bring exact change to minimize cash transactions.
