The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites artists of all ages to take part in an ArtLab for All Ages workshop on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the CMCA courtyard, 21 Winter St.

Participants will join CMCA's Education Coordinator Mia Bogyo for a fun, painted paper collage-making activity inspired by artist Meghan Brady's bold, mural-sized work "Feverdream," on view in the CMCA lobby. Workshop participants are also invited to contribute to a collective, temporary large-scale collage created on the courtyard windows opposite "Feverdream."

Following CDC guidelines, the workshop will be offered by reservation with 20 seats available. Stay for the entire workshop or just an hour. The workshop is free of charge, but reservations are required. To reserve, email Mia Bogyo at mbogyo@cmcanow.org.

The workshop will also be streamed live on facebook.com/cmcanow for those who prefer to participate virtually.

Now in its ninth year, CMCA's ArtLab for All Ages program is offered free to the community through the support of Wells Fargo, the Fisher Charitable Foundation, Margaret E. Burnham Trust, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust, and individual donors.
