The Mechanic Street Parking lot project has presented a last-minute opportunity for a time capsule. The plan is to open it in 20 years and for it to include letters, artifacts, and artwork from local people. None of the letters will be read until the time of opening. Submissions can be dropped off at the Town Office any time before Aug. 10. They can also be mailed.
Select Board members are reusing an old time capsule that was found in the Public Works garage, which will be repainted.
For more information, contact Camden Select Board Vice Chair, Alison McKellar. Information can be found at https://www.facebook.com/367851803627289/posts/956126918133105/?d=n.
